This is new technology that is used to find out what is costing you energy and money. With this extra technology they say they can save you more. Brent Quebman fires up the thermal imaging equipment before he walks in the front door. He calls your home your thermal envelop and he's looking for leaks. You can save 25 - 30% just by sealing your thermal envelop. Thats hundreds of dollars less each year in heating and cooling energy bills. We charge $145 for a 3,000 sq ft house.
He uses the thermal camera to find your trouble spots, some visible with the naked eye, others are less obvious like missing insulation behind the wall. After the in home visit, he compiles all the images into a report that is sent to the homeowner along with a list of suggested improvements to save big and tips on cheap ways to get it done. |
